ABSTRACT

——The researcher aimed to assess the integration of technology of the digitallychallenged teachers in their work during the School Year 2024-2025 as inputs for proposed action plan. The researcher used mixed method research. To be precise, sequential explanatory design was used. The respondents of the study were the digitally-challenged teachers in South Sector of the Division of Pampanga. There were 60 digitally-challenged teachers who were requested to be the respondents on the quantitative part, while there were 10 purposively selected teachers on the qualitative part. Questionnaire and semi-structured interview were used as instrument. Weighted mean and thematic analysis were applied for interpretation. Results revealed that the integration of technology of digitally-challenged teachers on software resources was at great extent (M=2.54) and very great extent (M=3.52) on hardware resources. In addition, digitally-teachers integrated technology to improve learning experiences of pupils and to ensure pupils’ active participation. Also, the restraining factors that hinder the digitally-challenged teachers from integrating technology in teaching were Insufficient ICT Materials and Resources and Poor Competencies in ICT. Furthermore, an action plan was proposed to help the digitally-challenged teachers in integrating technology in teaching. Keywords: ICT integration, digitally-challenged teachers, hardware, software
